Here at Ann’s Pasties, we’ve always been fueled by the spirit of Cornwall. And what embodies that spirit more than the sea and the incredible surf community that calls our coastline home? That’s why we are absolutely stoked to announce our partnership with the Wavelength UK Surfer Awards 2025!
This is more than just a collaboration; it’s a celebration of all things Cornish. The Wavelength UK Surfer Awards recognizes the best of British surfing, from the top surfers and photographers to the schools and shapers who are shaping the future of the sport. It’s a night of prestige and pure coastal energy, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it.
For us, the connection is personal. Our very own Ferg, Ann’s son and the man who helps keep our pasties perfect, is a keen surfer himself. He knows firsthand the feeling of paddling out at dawn, catching that perfect wave, and coming back to shore absolutely ravenous. And he’ll tell you the same thing we will: there’s no better post-surf snack than a proper Cornish pasty. After a session in the cold Cornish waters, your body craves food & warmth.
We’re incredibly excited to be providing the fuel for the after-party at the Wavelength UK Surfer Awards ceremony, held in Newquay. As the awards are announced and the music gets going, our pasties will be there to keep the good times rolling.
So, here’s to the UK’s amazing surf community, and here’s to a partnership that feels as natural as the ebb and flow of the tide. We can’t wait to see you there and celebrate all the incredible talent Cornwall and the UK have to offer.
You can also catch us at The UK Surf & Skate Expo on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September. We will be serving up our classic pasties all day. Feeding all the hungry surfers & skaters. Come & say hi! Catch you in the water, or at our shop for a pasty afterwards!
