Ann’s Pasties has always been deeply rooted in the Cornish community, and nothing makes us prouder than supporting the incredible individuals who dedicate their lives to keeping our waters safe. This year, we were honoured to sponsor the Porthleven & The Lizard Lifeboat day, two events that holds a special place in our hearts.
The brave volunteers of the RNLI are a lifeline for our coastal communities, and their commitment is something we hold in the highest regard. For us, this cause is personal. Our very own Fergus and his dad, Tony, both served on the lifeboat crew at The Lizard. Tony served for 20 years as part if the crew, whether that was on or off the water. Their stories and experiences have given us a profound appreciation for the selfless work of the RNLI, and we know firsthand the sacrifices these heroes and their families make.
To show our appreciation for their unwavering dedication, we were delighted to donate a load of our freshly baked pasties to the hardworking volunteers at the Porthleven lifeboat day this year. It was a small gesture to say a massive “thank you” for their tireless efforts and to provide a little taste of home to those who give so much to protect others.
The Porthleven & The Lizard Lifeboat day is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of community spirit, courage, and the bonds that tie us all together. We are incredibly proud to have been a part of it and to continue our support for the RNLI.
