As long as people have been eating pasties, our Cornish land has been providing for them.
We believe the best pasties start with the best ingredients, which is why we’re proud to support our local community. All of our suppliers are Cornish and located within 10 miles of our kitchen. This isn’t just a matter of convenience; it’s our commitment to quality, freshness, and the true taste of Cornwall. By sourcing our meat, vegetables, and flour from nearby farms and mills, we ensure every ingredient is as fresh as possible and help to sustain the local economy and preserve the rich heritage of Cornish agriculture. It’s a connection we’re proud of, from the field to your pasty.

At Ann’s Pasties, we know that the secret to a great Cornish pasty is not just in the recipe, but in the quality of the ingredients. That’s why we’re proud to use beef from R.J. Trevarthen, a local, family-run wholesale butcher based in Cornwall. Their commitment to sourcing high-quality, fully traceable Cornish meat from local farmers means every bite of our pasty is packed with the rich, authentic flavour that Cornwall is famous for. By partnering with R.J. Trevarthen, we’re not only guaranteeing the best for our customers, but also supporting the local agricultural community and ensuring the heritage of Cornish farming thrives.
When it comes to our pasties, we believe in the power of great ingredients, and that’s exactly what we get from F G Pryor & Son. This family-run farm, a true pillar of the Cornish farming community, provides us with the finest potatoes, grown with generations of expertise. We’re proud to support Philip, Denise, Warwick, and Amy, a family that truly understands the land and what it takes to produce the best. Their dedication to sustainable and high-quality farming ensures that every single potato in our pasties is packed with the hearty, authentic flavour that makes our pasties a true taste of Cornwall.

At Ann’s Pasties, every ingredient is a testament to our commitment to local quality. That’s why our vegetables come directly from Trevor Goldsworthy, a dedicated farmer located in Leedstown, just a stone’s throw from our kitchen. For years, Trevor has supplied us with his famously sweet and yellow turnip—an essential ingredient that gives our pasties their incredible, rich flavour. We’re so passionate about his produce that when we were looking for a high-quality Cornish onion, he went above and beyond to grow some just for us. This personal connection ensures that our pasties are not just made with fresh vegetables, but with ingredients grown with care and a true passion for Cornish farming.
For a truly delicious cheese pasty, the secret lies in the quality of the cheese itself. That’s why we use the multi-award-winning cheddar from Davidstow. Located just down the road in the heart of Cornwall, Davidstow has been perfecting their cheese for over 70 years, using only milk from local Cornish farms. The result is a cheddar with a rich, balanced, and long-lasting flavour that melts perfectly into a creamy, savoury filling. It’s the perfect way to ensure every single one of our cheese and onion pasties delivers that authentic, unmistakable taste of Cornwall.

In a pasty, the perfect seasoning is just as important as the perfect filling. That’s why we’re proud to use Cornish Sea Salt in every one of our pasties. Hand-harvested just a few miles from our kitchen on the Lizard Peninsula, this pure and natural salt captures the very essence of the Atlantic Ocean. Unlike standard table salt, Cornish Sea Salt is packed with over 60 essential trace minerals, giving it a unique flavour profile that’s both clean and bright. It doesn’t just make our pasties salty; it elevates every single ingredient, from the beef skirt to the potatoes and turnip, making the flavours pop and delivering an authentic taste of Cornwall in every bite.
We’re so proud to use Rodda’s in more ways than one! While their famous clotted cream is the perfect partner for our delicious scones, we also use Rodda’s rich, golden Cornish butter to make our pasty pastry. Crafted from milk sourced from local Cornish farms, their butter gives our pastry a uniquely light, flaky texture and a beautiful, authentic flavour. This commitment to using the best ingredients, from the inside out, is our way of guaranteeing that every bite of our pasty delivers a taste of pure, unadulterated Cornwall.
