In Greek like ‘zesty’ weather 20.5 degrees at 8.30 this morning a couple of dozen ‘Ann’s Pasties’ were delivered, by my son Fergus, to the tender of the ‘Hetairos’ a super ‘super yacht’ that was moored off Beacon Crag, Porthleven since yesterday.
It was a joy to see this fabulous boat moored at anchor in Mounts Bay where members of my family have fished, sailed, rowed Cornish Pilot Gigs, swum and surfed. Hetairos is a fast performance sailing yacht with the classic appearance and styling of a Bristol Pilot Cutter. This 66.90 meter ketch was built at ‘Baltic Yachts’ in Finland. Hetairos won the judges’ ‘special award during the ‘World Super Yacht Awards’ for “Notable contribution to the technical advancement of super yachts”.
She certainly is the loveliest modern yacht I have ever viewed.
